NOTICE TO HARLAN COUNTY TAXPAYERS

The Harlan County Sheriff, Pursuant to KRS 424.330, hereby announces that the 2006 delinquent property taxlist will be published in the Harlan Daily Enterprise on Tuesday, July 24, 2007. This will be the ONLY newspaper advertisement of the 2006 delinquent property tax bills.

The list of the delinquent property tax bills is also available for public inspection during normal business hours at the Sheriff's Office located at 210 E. Central Street, Suite 202, Courthouse, Harlan, KY 40831. Additionally, a listing of the delinquent property tax bills will be posted on Harlan County Sheriff's Office website beginning on July 18, 2007 and continuing for a period of not less than 30 days. The listing will be updated at least weekly. The uniform resource locater for the website is WWW.HARLANSHERIFF.COM

The Sheriff's tax sale of delinquent 2006 property tax bills will be held at the Harlan County Court House, on the front steps, on August 30, 2007 at 10:00 am.
